Wacker Neuson looking for new acquisitions 131

Dr. Georg Sick, president and chief executive officer of Wacker Neuson has reported that  Wacker Neuson is on the lookout for possible acquisitions to expand its product portfolio.

He went on to comment that the merger of Wacker with Neuson Kramer means the group now offers light and compact equipment in more than 300 product groups and any further acquisitions would be made "in a controlled way and within established corporate policy."

Dr. Sick's comments were made at the official opening of Kramer Allrad’s new £27m factory and offices built on a 16 hectare site in Pfullendorf, in Germany.

The 3,000 units per year produced at the factory roll off two parallel production lines and the structure features a 5,000 metre squared painting booth able to spray machines in customers colours. Wacker Neuson have no plans to reduce their staff numbers despite current financial conditions.
