Volvo, down on the farm! 131

The first Volvo L50F wheeled loader has landed in GB and has gone to work handling and blending animal feeds at Hitchcock Farms in Suffolk.
Making it's debut at Intermat, Paris in April, the first L50F joins an existing L60E purchased in 2004 for handling ash and fertilizer, the new arrival has been put to work loading and blending raw materials to produce a whole range of animal feeds in a dedicated work zone at Hitchcock's Chapel Farm near Stowmarket.
According to the proprietor, the new loading shovel from Volvo "ticked all the boxes" required for the animal feed blending operation citing the machines compactness, smoothness of operation, load over height and capacity.
