Major Vinci reorganisation 131

Posted on Sunday, 25 January 2009 02:59PM by Editor
In a move set to change the plant hire landscape permanently Vinci are undertaking a major reorganisation of their UK operations bringing them all under the one name. Sadly this will mean the end of stalwarts such as Taylor Woodrow and Norwest Holst, all of whom will vanish under the new scheme.

Vinci Construction UK Limited incorporates all of the Vinci groups UK operations. A company statement read "the consolidation is part of a group-wide strategy to bring a more cohesive approach to the company's brand identity following the recent acquisition of Taylor Woodrow by Vinci PLC and the subsequent restructuring."

"The change of name will also enhance the recognition of the UK operations of Vinci, the world's leading concessions and construction group. The company will comprise five divisions: building, infrastructure, facilities, technology and regional contracting. Within each of these divisions the names and logos of the existing trading entities will be retained."
