A worker has been seriously injured at Hochtief Glendoe's
Scottish hydro-electric scheme. The incident follows revelations that just weeks ago another man was killed on the same site.
The employee in question is understood to have broken both of his legs after his vehicle overturned and tumbled down the side of the dam wall.
The contractor was issued with a prohibition notice ordering them to stop using all of their vehicles so safety checks can be carried out.
The Health and
Safety Executive has began to investigate. They are also
also conducting an inquiry into the death of Ondrej Hladik, 46, from
Prague, who was killed last month in an accident involving a forklift
truck at the site.
